Mold Inspections and Testing for Michigan Home Owners, Renters, Landlords and Commercial Properties
House Smell Musty?
Got a kind of odd smell in your home? Not sure what’s causing it? Do visitors notice the smell but because you live there, you cannot smell it at all? It’s a natural occurrence for most people that smells you are exposed to all the time, become completely undetectable. While visitors will notice it immediately, they will often be too embarrassed to tell you though.
Seem to Always Have the Sniffles?
Can’t shake that runny nose? Do you seem to be suffering from a non-specific illness? Generally, achy all the time?
Of course, you should probably see a doctor, however, have you considered it could be mold growing somewhere in your house? Somewhere out of sight, maybe behind a wall, in a crawlspace, behind a cupboard.
Mold spores are tiny, I mean really tiny. They have a habit of making any cold or illness worse. There is always some level of mold everywhere. However, if mold becomes a little too present and you are exposed to it, it can make you just feel off without really knowing why. If it becomes very abundant it will make most people sick, really sick.
Not Sure if You Need a Mold Inspection?
If you are in doubt, you would likely be smart to play it safe and at least get your home tested for mold.
Our testing is quick and inexpensive. Simply sampling the air on each floor will identify the level of mold spores in your home. Even if the mold is hidden, air testing will find it. This is because mold continually puts spores into the air. We can therefore identify if the level of spores in your home is such that it could be affecting your health.
Buying a New Home?
It’s quite common for new home buyers to not think about having a mold inspection done simply because they did not see any. Mold will often form in out-of-sight, out-of-the-way places. Buying a new home is a big purchase. Getting your new potential purchase tested before you buy it can save you thousands of dollars later.
